Likha Summit 2025 begins in!
An interdisciplinary platform designed to spark critical dialogue, exchange innovative ideas, and promote scholarly collaboration. LIKHA-DUNONG—which translates to "Creation of Knowledge"—embodies the spirit of intellectual inquiry and creativity across a wide range of disciplines.

Geo-STEMS is jointly organized by the Caraga Center for Geo-Informatics, and Departments of Geodetic Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Geology - College of Engineering and Geosciences, Caraga State University, Butuan, Philippines in collaboration with the Mathematical and Statistical Computing and Research Center, and Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. - Caraga Regional Division.
GeoSpatial Technologies for Earth Monitoring Symposium, or Geo-STEMS, is an annual event that brings together experts, researchers, end-users, and enthusiasts in geospatial technology and earth observation to explore recent advancements in Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, and Spatial Information Sciences for Earth monitoring and analysis.
This event will connect groundbreaking innovations from Mindanao’s Higher Education Institutions with industry leaders, investors, and adopters.
This activity—combining a pitching competition and a technology exhibit—aims to showcase market-ready and high-potential technologies developed by faculty researchers, students, and research teams from HEIs. The pitching component provides an avenue for technology developers to present the value, feasibility, and commercial potential of their innovations to a panel of evaluators and prospective investors. Meanwhile, the technology exhibit allows for greater public engagement, enabling stakeholders to interact directly with innovators, explore applications, and establish potential collaborations.

The Caraga State University-Main Campus is nestled in a 232-hectare area, thirty-two (32) hectares of which is allocated for academic buildings and support facilities, including a Gymnasium (currently renovated). The remaining two hundred (200) hectares of land is for the University’s production, research, and extension projects.
Moreover, the CSU-HERO Learning Commons Library stood on a 7,200 sq. meter space catering to more than 2,000 guests and hailed as the Biggest State University Library in Mindanao and awarded as the Most Innovative Library Design in the Philippines by the Philippine Association of Academic and Research Librarians (PAARL). The innovative library is integrated with technology solutions that minimize face-to-face contact when patrons return borrowed books and are built with several offices, reading books, an auditorium, conference rooms equipped with an RFID access control with a 75” interactive board for meetings, and other state-of-the-art facilities. In addition, the HERO learning commons have a library monitoring system that gathers information and generates library usage data and reporting.
