Conference Rationale

The LIKHA Summit is the university’s premier gathering of innovators, scholars, and practitioners showcasing research and creative works that drive meaningful changes across disciplines.

As part of this university-wide event, LIKHA-Dunong serves as a conference space highlighting the vital contributions of the education, humanities, and social sciences in shaping sustainable and inclusive futures.

Objective:

The 2nd LIKHA-Dunong International Conference 2025 brings together educators, researchers, and practitioners in the education, humanities, and social sciences to share innovations that empower communities and shape sustainable futures.

Guided by the theme “Driving Sustainable Futures through Educational and Social Research and Innovation,” the conference highlights research that addresses today’s most pressing challenges through inclusive, creative, and interdisciplinary approaches.

Accross its three tracks – Cultural and Social Studies; Education and Pedagogy; and Arts, Language, and Well-being– the conference showcases diverse research outputs that explore society and culture, innovations in teaching and learning, and the vital role of arts, language, and holistic well-being in building resilient communities.

TRACKS:

Track 1: Cultural and Social Studies

This track explores the way culture, history, and society influence human lives and collective identities. It highlights research on heritage preservation, gender and inclusivity, social welfare, and public service-showcasing insights that help build more equitable and resilient communities.

Track 2: Education and Pedagogy
