He completed his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering (cum laude) at the University of the Philippines Diliman. He served as the Chief Science Research Specialist of the Phil-LiDAR 2 project conducted by Caraga State University. He also holds a master’s degree in information technology from Caraga State University. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the College of Computing and Information Sciences and the Director of the Center for Sustainable Mineral and Mining Operations at Caraga State University. His research interests include computational science, artificial intelligence, reinforcement learning, and autonomous control systems.
