Ms. Villarina functions as the Supervising Statistical Specialist at the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) RSSO XIII (Caraga), a role she has held since December 2017. Her career in statistics began as a Statistician I at the Bureau of Agricultural Statistics in September 2002, where she worked until September 2013. She then transitioned to the PSA, first serving as a Statistician I from September 2013 to August 2015, and then as a Senior Statistical Specialist from August 2015 to December 2017 before being promoted to her current position.
In terms of education, She holds a Masters degree in Public Management from Xavier University (Ateneo de Cagayan), which she completed from 2005 to 2006 on a scholarship from the Department of Agriculture. She also graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from Central Mindanao University in 1999, having received a scholarship from the Department of Science and Technology.
Mr. Dinnes Karl N. Garcia, commonly called “Dines” is a Licensed Nurse and a public health practitioner with over a decade of experience in the field. He finished his undergraduate studies at Father Saturnino Urios University and his Master of Science in Environmental Science and Management from Caraga State University. He is currently writing his dissertation for his Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Science degree under the University of the Philippines- Professional School of Agriculture and the Environment, an off-campus offering of the UP- Los Baños.
He is currently the Center In-Charge and the Team lead of the Research Collaboration Center of the DOH CHD-Caraga. His areas of expertise include public health, epidemiology, environmental science and health, and teaching.
