The 1st CSU LIKHA Estadistika is a pioneering initiative of Caraga State University, spearheaded by the Mathematical and Statistical Computing and Research Center (MSCRC) in collaboration with the Mathematics Department. This two-day celebration, held on October 2–3, 2025, is organized in line with the University’s 3rd LIKHA Summit and the nationwide observance of the 36th National Statistics Month, led by the Philippine Statistics Authority.
This event underscores the crucial role of Statistics as both a science and a tool for progress. In an era where decisions are increasingly data-driven, Statistics serves as the foundation for research, policy-making, and innovation across diverse disciplines. Through lectures, discussions, and interactive activities, LIKHA Estadistika provides an avenue for students, faculty, researchers, and stakeholders to deepen their appreciation and understanding of Statistics, not only as an academic discipline but also as a valuable instrument in everyday life.
More than a celebration, this event is a platform for knowledge-sharing and collaboration. It aims to promote statistical literacy, encourage the use of data in informed decision-making, and highlight the impact of Statistics in addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges.
By bringing together experts, educators, and learners, the 1st CSU LIKHA Estadistika aspires to cultivate a culture of evidence-based thinking and inspire the next generation to harness the power of Statistics for research, innovation, and nation-building.
Be a part of the movement for a sustainable and innovative future! Whether a researcher, innovator, or industry expert, this summit is your chance to contribute to meaningful change.
