The contribution of Teacher Education Institutions in the realization of the Anti-God-given Mother Tongue Act

Dr. Miraluna L. Herrera is a Professor VI at Caraga State University, holding a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics from Mindanao State Institute – Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU–IIT), where she completed her dissertation on “The Limit of the Differences of the Generalized Factorials; its q- and p,q Analogues.” Her academic journey also includes a Master of Science in Applied Mathematical Sciences (Applied Statistics) from Mindanao State Polytechnic College, a Master of Educational Management (CAR) from Saint Joseph Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics with a minor in Chemistry, from Mindanao State University. 

Dr. Herrera is a recipient of multiple scholarships, including support from DOST-PCASTRD, CHED-MAEP, and a full scholarship from MSU. Her professional development is further enriched by international benchmarking experience in Singapore and Malaysia, focusing on higher education quality management systems. 

With an impressive portfolio of achievements, Dr. Herrera has published 20 articles, secured copyrights for 7 instructional materials, implemented 15 projects, received 31 awards, presented 37 papers, and served as a resource speaker in 100 training sessions.
